Long Island, NY’s  BLAMESHIFT  are excited to be joining forces with  STRAIGHT LINE STITCH, on their upcoming  Never Sleep Again Tour.  BLAMESHIFT  will kick off their full US stretch this Thursday May 24th in their home town at Mulcahy’s in Wantagh, NY. The band will be headlining a select run of shows down the east coast on their way to meet up with  STRAIGHT LINE STICTH  in Austin, TX on June 5.
BLAMESHIFT  recently finished recording a new EP in North Hollywood with producer Erik Ron. Last week the band announced the title of their next release,  Secrets, set to be released later this year. It’ll be a great feeling premiering a few of our new songs on our next tour with SLS” said lead singer Jenny Mann. It’s really awesome that we got the opportunity to do these dates with such a killer band.”
STRAIGHT LINE STITCH  have recently emerged as free agents and are looking for a new label to call home. No strangers to touring and fresh off of their successful 2011 album,  The Fight of Our Lives, the band is hitting the road again to give fans what they expect, a great show and good time. Joining them on the road is former  STRAIGHT LINE STITCH  guitarist Kris Norris (ex-Darkest Hour), back with the group for two months of shredding alongside Kris Hawkins. I think as a band we are looking forward mostly to just getting back to basics, and at the very heart of that is hitting the road and letting everyone know that  STRAIGHT LINE STITCH  is still going strong,” states front woman Alexis Brown. There are some new faces in the mix but the feeling and the essence of the band is still the same, which is to go out and give it all we’ve got.”
