(Rules of The Gauntlet: The artist (Like in this case bass player Dimitri Farougias of Indie Alt Rock Band Faulkner) is sent a butt ton of questions ranging from standard to stupid from which they must choose at least 12 to answer and return them to us with a minimum of tear stains. )
Q. Tell me why your music rules. Or why it sucks.
It rules because we love it like Kanye loves Kanye
Q. Which Muppet would you marry, which one would you wanna knife fight in a swamp, and which one should be our global emperor? Why?
Knife fight with all of them in a swamp. There will not be a wedding for an emperor to attend.
Q. Tell me about your new album. The writing, vibe, production/producers, etc.
When you get The RZA, J.P Bowersock, (Ryan Adams/The Strokes) and Mark Needham (Killers/Imagine Dragons) working on the same album apparently you end up with a very raw and subversive sound with big hooks and grand melodies.
Q. What are you working on right now?
We’re trying to perfect our morning smoothies. The consistency is not quite there yet and the amount of turmeric is a topic of big debate.
Q. Why do you make your style of music? Why not polka? or Japanese symphonic folk metal? or..?
Our music is basically the illegitimate child of David Bowie with Dr. Dre raised by the Clash. Who wouldn’t want to have a fucked up beautiful kid like that?
Q. Which voice in your head is the craziest?
Willy Wonka
Q. What’s the history of your band as told by your favorite fictional character?
We’re basically Batman.
Q. How often do you work on your music?
For an hour every morning after finishing our inconsistent in density smoothies.

“The unconsciousness of a falling stone is something quite different from the unconsciousness of a growing cabbage” – Henri Bergson
Q. What exactly is “Going apeshit?”
E = mc2

“This will never happen to me” Pretty much everyone.
Q. Who are your influences?
Plato, Betty White and Iggy Pop.
Q. How long could you live without money?
Been there, done that. As long as it takes and by any means necessary.

What was the last song you listened to before this interview?
“Untouchable” Pusha T.

out to? Why?

Describe your face.
86% fuckable.
Q. Stella or Guinness? Why?
Come on man?! Jameson. Neat.
Q. What musicians should quit forever and never be seen or heard from again?
That banjo and mandolin thing that went down there for a bit. That.
Q. What would you like to say to your fans?
Thank you and get ready for some crazy shows!
Q. Where do your song names come from?
Lucas Asher’s infinite vocabulary.
Q. There’s a good chance you will look back and be embarrassed by your current hairstyle. Discuss.
Long hair don’t care.
Q. If you could accomplish one thing in a music career what would it be? When you achieve that will you quit?
Headline Glastonbury. No vision of quitting. Ever.
