ANNOUNCE SECOND LEG OF THE PATH OF TOTALITY TOUR
Fresh off the hugely successful first round of live dates in support of their latest album THE PATH OF TOTALITY (Roadrunner Records) out now, KORN are returning to the road for the second leg of the Path of Totality Tour and coming to Denver, CO Monday, February 27 at Fillmore Auditorium. The show will feature support from Kill the Noise, while KORN frontman Jonathan Davis will also debut his brand new DJ set as his J Devil alter ego.
Prior to kicking off the Path of Totality Tour, KORN will appear on ABC-TV‘s JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE” today, Thursday, February 2, along with very special guest Kill the Noise, for the national TV debut performance of their Top Five active rock single Narcissistic Cannibal” on the show’s outdoor stage.
Narcissistic Cannibal,” produced by Skrillex and Kill The Noise, is featured on THE PATH OF TOTALITY, another experimental chapter in KORN‘s rich canon and history. The album finds the groundbreaking, influential and multi-platinum band shifting gears, taking a bit of a creative left turn (something they’ve been known to do throughout the course of their two-decade career) and exploring thrilling new territory with some of the hottest emerging producers and talent in the burgeoning electronic scene. THE PATH OF TOTALITY debuted Top 10 on the Billboard charts and was met with critical applause thanks to the band’s ability to remain fresh and relevant while collaborating with electronic producers Skrillex, 12th Planet, Kill the Noise, Excision, Flinch, Noisia, Datsik, Downlink, Feed Me and more.
KORN“”Jonathan Davis [Vocals], James Munky” Shaffer [Guitar], Reggie “Fieldy” Arvizu [Bass] and Ray Luzier [Drums]””were recently profiled in the New York Times‘ Sunday section, celebrated for their ability to embrace dubstep. THE PATH OF TOTALITY has garnered praise and buzz, while being featured inNME, SPIN, Electronic Musician and Revolver, where it was named Album Of The Year,” as well as on tastemaker sites such as RollingStone.com andHype Machine. Daniel Kohn of the LA WEEKLY raved about KORN‘s recent record release event””which took place in December 2011 at the world-famousPalladium in Hollywood, CA, and featured the band alongside many of the producers on the album””calling it as unique a show as I’ve ever seen.”
