(Rules of The Gauntlet: The artists (In this case Maryland’s own metalcore band Voids) is sent a butt ton of  questions ranging from standard to stupid  from which they must choose  at least  12 to answer and return them to us with a minimum of tear stains).

“If you could accomplish one thing in a music career what would it be?  When you achieve that will you quit?

The one thing I would really like to achieve in a music career would have to be to tour the entire country and hopefully one day the world and I wouldn’t quit when that happens because theres always new places to play and explore.

What are your thoughts on the music in general?

I think music in general is a great outlet for musicians to express themselves and for the listeners to have a safe haven to forget out whatever might be going on in their lives.

Peace or freedom?  (You can’t have both.) Why?

Freedom because it gives you free reign to live the life you want to live and do the things that you want to rather than someone deciding everything for you.

How long could you live without money?

It all depends on whether id still have bills to pay and if thats the case definitely not long at all.

What was the last song you listened to before this interview?

Throne by Bring Me the Horizon

Where do your song names come from?

The song names come from the situation the song’s about, then I try to use names that I haven’t seen most bands/artists use before but still fit the meaning behind it. Like for some of the tracks of our new record I used names related to roman gods or simple words in latin.

Would you accept 1 million dollars now to give up any and all music forever?  If not what is your price?

As tempting as it sounds, music isn’t something I could ever give up. You can’t a price on the help and joy it brings to others.

What do you geek out to besides your music?  Please geek out on your geekiness.

I geek out to mostly anime, skateboarding, and Pokemon and I am not ashamed.

Wheelie or endo?

What are some of the unwritten rules of tours?

Theres only one real rule on tour and that is no messing with someone while they’re sleeping.

What would you like to say to your fans?

We’d like to say that we love you and we are so grateful for all of the support you’ve given us over the years, it means the absolute world to us and we wouldn’tchave gotten this far if it wasn’t for all ofyou.

Thank you all!”
